The NSPK Conference sums up the results of its Fast Payment System (FPS) technology launch
FinStream, a banking software developer and integrator, has announced its readiness to join the Fast Payment System (FPS) launched at the initiative of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
The FPS project is being implemented by AO NSPK (Russian National Payment Card System) under the aegis of the Central Bank of Russia. This long-term program is intended to facilitate the development of Russia’s payment technology landscape through introduction of instant fund transfers. In the future, this system will be extended to the entire financial infrastructure of Russia thus ensuring the stability of the Russian market of banking services and its resilience to external factors.
At this point, the production system has been successfully put into operation and is currently used to process live transactions and provide new services. For example, the system’s first QR-code payment was completed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019.

It also gave credit to the leaders – the sixteen banks that had launched the system in a trial mode and the five vendors whose technology solutions had made this launch possible.
